Good morning, crafty friends!! I hope your week is off to a great start!!

I have a card to share today that was inspired by the Sweet Treats stamp set. As soon as I saw it, I knew that I wanted to create one of those candy hearts boxes that are so popular for Valentine’s Day!

Here is the outside of the card…

And the inside…

First, I went to work on the cardbase. I die-cut two of the largest hearts in the Pierced XOXO Hearts Die Set from red cardstock, scored the back one at the top and adhered them together above the fold. I wanted to add some detail to the front of the card, so I nested the Pierced XOXO Heart Dies back together, die-cut them from red cardstock and adhered them to the front of the cardbase. This gave me a kind-of quilted effect.

The Gift Card Present Die came in handy for the bow on the front. I die-cut all of the pieces from white cardstock and blended Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink through one of the Fluttering Hearts Stencils with a blending brush. Once dry, I assembled the bow and added it to the front of the card, trimming off the excess from the edges.

For the inside of the card, I stamped some of the candies in the Sweet Treats stamp set onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored them with Copics and cut them out with the Coordinating Honey Cuts. I die-cut the medium sized heart using the Pierced XOXO Heart Dies from brown cardstock, adhered it to the inside and placed my die-cut candies inside.

The greeting (inside and out), also from the Sweet Treats stamp set, was white heat embossed onto red cardstock. I used a couple of dies from the Sweet Treat Box Honey Cuts to die-cut the sentiments, as well as the white scalloped rectangle under it. Both sentiments were adhered to the card, popping up the one on the outside with foam adhesive.

I love it when a plan comes together!! Have you started on your Valentine’s cards yet? The newest Bee Mine Release is full of amazing products to get your juices flowing!!

Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you next Tuesday!!
