Happy Tuesday, crafty friends!! I hope your week is going well!!

I have a fun 3-D pop-up ocean scene thank you card to share with you today!! This idea came to me a couple of weeks ago when I was creating the beach pop-up card that I shared last week!!

I started by die-cutting all of the coral, sea grass and fish from white cardstock using the Ocean Deep Scene Builder Honey Cuts. I colored them with Copic markers, then set them aside to work on the card base.

I chose four different colors of blue cardstock, ranging from light to dark. I die-cut the lightest and darkest using the die for the back of the card in the A2 Scene Builder Card Base Dies. I trimmed the middle two panels to 5″ x 4.25″, then scored and folded them 1/4″ from each end on the longest sides. I die-cut the centers from the top three layers using the dies in the Ocean Deep Scene Builder Die Set.

The Waves Pierced A2 Cover Plate Die was die-cut into each of the layers. The two middle layers were adhered to the sides of the back of the card base with Bee Creative Glue, then the front was adhered to the back. All of the sea life was arranged and adhered as shown with Bee Creative Glue.

The sentiment, from the Seas the Day Stamp Set, was stamped with Intense Black Ink and cut out with the Coordinating Honey Cut. It was adhered to the front of the card with Bee Creative Glue. I added lots of Bokeh Lights Confetti for bubbles and I was finished!! Just look at all of that dimension!! It folds flat to fit into an A2 envelope!!

There’s something so special about an interactive card, don’t you think?

Thank you so very much for stopping by today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you next Tuesday!!

Brenda
