Hi my dear bee friends!!! It’s Alba here today for Day 6 of the annual Twelve Designers Event at the Honey Bee Stamps blog! I am so excited to share this project with you all, first because this is my first blog post with Honey Bee (I usually post my projects on Instagram) and second, because I really love how this project turned out and hope I can inspire you to use your honey cuts in a different way 🙂

For my project I started with an embroidery hoop, I selected the felt for the background and look for the metallic screw and unscrewed it, removed the hoops and placed the fabric on the smaller ring, then I pressed the outer ring down around the inner ring and started to adjust the felt neatness as I was tightening the screw, once I was happy that it was neat and tight, I cut the excess fabric and glued the edge to the hoop (that prevents it from moving while I am working with it), throughout this project I used a glue for felt, but you can use fabric glue too.

Once the glue was dried up, I started to glue the pieces I die cut from felt with the super cute gingerbread house add-on honey cut, you can truly create any piece your creativity takes you with felt, it is like working with card stock just instead of regular glue I recommend using felt or fabric glue. Above you can see I added details on my gingerbread man with Nuvo drops in different colors.

Once my pieces were glued to the background, I added some details with beads, I think beads look super cute with felt! I also added a drop of stickles to the bows on my wreaths, if you don’t have stickles you can use nuvo glitter drops.

To finish my project I added the merry sentiment from the merry lights honey cut (Love so much the font on this sentiment, I have used it a lot this year on my Christmas cards), glued mini pom poms around the hoop, adore how they framed my project, and a bow with a gold cord to be able to hang my project on a wall .

Thanks so much for stopping by today ! Hope you have liked my project and give it a try on creating with felt, I promise you will have a lot of fun!!
If you haven’t yet, take a look at the amazing projects my super talented designers friends have created for day 1 through 5, at the Honey Bee Stamps blog and keep checking each day for many more beautiful projects to come.
Sendings big hugs and blessings to all!!

What a wonderful idea! I get so wrapped up in paper card and tag making that I always forget that these dies can cut felt! Thank you for the reminder and adorable inspiration!
