Hello Friends! How are you? I am popping in today to celebrate Honey Bee’s annual Twelve Designers of Christmas Celebration at the Honey Bee Stamps blog! I am thrilled to be participating and today is Day 12. Check out their previous days for loads of inspiration. My goal today was to create 8 quick and adorable tags without to much fuss and in a timely fashion! Don’t forget to comment below & on my blog to be entered to win a $50 gift card to the Honey Bee Stamps shop!

Simple is difficult for me and I am proud that I was able to stick to creating something simple with these darling “Snow Buddies“. I wasn’t going for green snow people but, sometimes things don’t always go perfectly but, I made them work. My paper was hot press and I don’t like anything about it. Cold press yes please!

During the holidays I don’t like spending money on packaging and I do my best to cut down on boxes and such. My gift bags were from Anthropologie when I purchased some ornaments for gifts I asked for some small gift bags. The “ribbon” I used is raffia because it’s not plastic ribbon. I am trying to be more mindful of other ways to reduce the plastic in our lives. 30 years ago my gifts were wrapped so exquisitely but, I have let all that go.

Honey Bee’s “Snow Buddies” just make me smile. This year the boys and girls will be wearing matching p.j. bottoms on Christmas morning and now I have a fun way to make this gift more fun & festive with my tag!

I  had some of this tape for the glitter strip at the bottom of my tag. This tape is the most amazing. It was really easy to lift off the backing plus it’s nice and thick and soooo easy to handle. LOVE!!!  For the snow balls I used a dollop of Gina K. Designs glue and poured on the glitter. The best part is I had a great time making these. It is possible to whip up some gift tags in the midst of everything else I am proof of that.

I hope you all are doing good. Stop by my blog for more product information & details on my Coloring Challenge Road Trip! Thanks for your visit. Hugs, Kathy

The green snowmen may have been unintentional, but they work with the other colours used on these tags. Hats off to you, we all need to do our part to ensure that future generation can inherit a habitable planet.

Love all the sparkle on your cute tags! So much joy in that small tag.

Thanks for the ideas of non plastic packaging. I’m also trying to be mindful of ways to reduce plastic use and using paper bags that can be reused is now my go to as it is simpler to package as well.

THANK YOU for sharing and INSPIRING … and for the top tips too, I’ve been using twine but think the rafia texture is an added bonus, as are the smaller store bags!
