Happy Holidays! I’m so excited to be joining my sweet Honey Bee friends for this wonderful event!
I love shiny things so I created a very merry card with glossy & glittery Christmas lights!
I started by using the light bulb die from the Fa La La Honey Cuts set to cut lights around the top & bottom of a white cardstock panel.
Then I added color to my card front corresponding to where the lights will be. I used Distress Inks & blending brushes but markers or pencils would work just as well.
After adhering the light bulb panel to the card front, I added Glossy Accents to the lights, sprinkling a little glitter while the Accents was wet. I love the glossy inlaid effect!
To finish the card, I used “merry” word die cuts from the Fa La La Honey Cuts and Merry Lights Honey Cuts sets. I also used the other part of the light bulb from the Fa La La set.
