Hi everyone!

I am honoured to have been asked to participate in Honey Bee’s 12 Days of Christmas this year! It is their 5th year, can you believe that?

I am sharing two cards with you today. I designed several projects actually as I was so excited with the release. Keep an eye out on my Instagram and Blog over the next couple of weeks if you want to see more!

Both projects that I am sharing with you today were designed using the paper stack called Holiday Cheer,  the stamp set called Farmhouse Tree Builder Stamp Set and the Merry Buzzword Stamp set & coordinating Merry Honey Cuts Dies.

There’s two parts to the Christmas tree in the stamp set which can be used on their own, or as a two part stamp technique. This is how I used it for my first design. I cut it out using the matching die set and glued it directly to the background paper.

The sentiments you see were embossed, including the base, but I die cut ‘Merry’ three times and popped it up to give great dimension.  I finished off with some pearl embellishments and used my white gel pen for the snow.

My second project used the same products as mentioned above, only this time it was different stamps within the Farmhouse Tree Builder Stamp Set.

I coloured those cutie stockings and the floral garland with my Copic markers. After die cutting them, I popped them up to give dimension.

I used two parts of the Merry Honey Cuts Dies this time, after first white embossing it. The background paper already had snow, so I can not take the credit for that!

Both projects were not terribly complicated, but because I make a lot of Christmas cards,  it’s great when the design comes together relatively quickly. I have to say that the Farmhouse Tree Builder Stamp Set will be staple in my stash for years to come, because of it’s so wonderful and versatile.

Have a safe and wonderful festive season!
