Happy Valentine’s Day, Honey Bee friends!! Brenda here with a sweet card featuring several new goodies from the Happy Hearts Release!!
I began by die-cutting the all of the layers for my strawberry plant from red, white, yellow and two colors of green cardstock using the Lovely Layers: Strawberries Honey Cuts. The planter was cut from aqua cardstock with the Terracotta Planters Die Set. I added some shading to the die-cuts with dye inks and blending brushes, then adhered all of the layers together with Bee Creative Glue.
For the background, I die-cut the Love A2 Cover Plate Die from white cardstock and layered it over a panel of plaid patterned paper from the Happy Hearts Paper Pad.
For the sentiment, I die-cut the three layers of the banner from white cardstock using the A Little Note Honey Cut Set and added some shading with gray Copic markers. The sentiment, from the A Little Note Stamp Set, was stamped onto the banner with red dye ink. The layers of the banner were adhered together with Bee Creative Glue, popping up the top layer with foam tape. The planter, strawberry pant and banner were all adhered to the front of the card with a combination of Bee Creative Glue and foam adhesive. I used a black Copic mulit-liner to enhance the “seeds” on the strawberries and I was finished.
