Happy Tuesday, my fellow crafters! It’s Melissa Bickford and today I’m sharing a FABULOUS card using the Lotus Blossom stamp mixed with a little watercoloring. I have used this little flower so much lately…I just love it!

For my card, I chose to leave the Lotus Blossom a simple black and white. I thought it worked perfectly with my watercolored background. But before we get to the flowers, let’s talk about that watercoloring. To start, I cut a piece of watercolor paper (I use THIS paper) to measure 4 x 5.25”.  Next, I simply brushed a mix of pinks and purples across the top portion using THESE watercolors.

Up next, the blossoms. After stamping three of them onto white card-stock, I cut them out and attached them to my card front. The leaves are from the Color My World stamp set. I stamped, cut and attached those just under my flowers. To dress up my flowers a bit, I added a colorful button to the center each one. And last but not least, the sentiment, which is from the set Beautiful Life…’Always be your own kind of fabulous!’

I hope you enjoyed. Wishing you a fabulous day!

xo,

Melissa
