Good morning, Honey Bee friends! It’s Melissa B here with you on this Monday morning. Today, I’m sharing a card featuring the cutest sprinkled donuts. I love the Coffee Break and Tea Time sets and mixed those together today to create this happy little card for you.
I’ve been wanting to create colorful sprinkled donuts with the Coffee Break Honey Cuts for quite awhile now and finally took some time to do it. To start, I die-cut multiple donuts using four different colors of cardstock, plus one out of white cardstock. After die-cutting each one, I popped all of the sprinkles out and set them aside in a pile. After they were all die-cut I started filling each one in. For me, the easiest way to do this is to flip the donut over so the front is facing down. These tiny little sprinkles can be somewhat hard to handle, but I didn’t have too hard of a time at all. And if you own the Double-Ended Jewel Picker, it will be a breeze. I love this tool so much and use it for all of my intricate detail work. After filling in each of the sprinkles I secured them in place simply be adding strips of scotch tape.
Next, I die-cut bases for my donuts using white cardstock. I attached all of my sprinkled donuts over the white base and then started attaching to the left side of my white card base. I attached all but two directly to my card and the other two I popped up with dimensional foam.
My pink mug was die-cut using the Tea Time Honey Cuts. I attached that with more of the dimensional foam and then added two layered hearts die-cut with the Tea Time Honey Cuts. Above my mug I stamped the steam image from Coffee Break. To complete my card I added a few Puffy Cloud sequins!
Thank you so much for visiting with us today! I hope you have a wonderful Monday and hope that it’s filled with more coffee and sprinkled donuts! 🙂
