Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today, and I’ve got some super sweet inspiration using some old and some new products! One of my favorite things about Honey Bee Stamps is how well the new products work with the old. So many of the sets work beautifully in conjunction with each other, and today’s project features several new stamps and dies, as well as an older sentiment set to create this pretty pink and purple project. Let’s get started with the details!

I started by die cutting a pierced heart from the Pierced XOXO Hearts using some white, Copic-friendly cardstock. I then stamped the little picnic table and chairs from Treat Shop Add-On using Copic-friendly black ink and colored the images using some pretty pink and purple Copic markers. I also used the Blending Brushes to blend some coordinating bubble gum pink ink at the top of the heart to add a little interest to the top! I get a little overwhelmed with scene building, so I have a tip for you if you’re the same way: with so many darling stamps included in the Treat Shop Add-On, it can be a little overwhelming to try to narrow it down to what you actually want to use, so I like to narrow my field of vision by working on a smaller die cut rather than the whole card front.

Next, I die cut the Fluttering Hearts Pierced Cover Plate from some more white cardstock, trimming a tiny bit around the edge of the die cut so that I could mat the panel on some purple cardstock. I adhered the Copic-colored heart die cut to the card front using some foam adhesive for extra dimension.

For the sentiment, I die cut the “sweet” from some more purple cardstock and white embossed a coordinating greeting from the Sweet stamp set onto a strip of bright pink cardstock. I adhered both sentiment pieces to the card front, adding some pretty Bubblegum Confetti to add a bit of sparkle!

Well that’s all for my project today! Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a marvelous weekend!
