Hello Honey Bee friends. It’s Bobbi here with a sweet card for a friend, perhaps a friend you like to share a drink or two with on Valentine’s day or a birthday. This cover die is so fun to use as a backdrop to other dies. I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products for this card:

For the basics… my featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on the background, too. For white highlights, I use my white Gelly Roll pen. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

To create this card, I die cut the Bold Background: Vines of Love Honey Cuts dies from a medium green cardstock. I used Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink to add a darker green to the cardstock for variation. I die cut the hearts from a pink blush cardstock and blended on Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink to the hearts’ edges.

For the card’s front panel, I splattered black, and red watercolor over the front of my white panel. I attached the Vines of Love and the hearts to the front using Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue.

For the feature, I added two martini glasses from the Lovely Layers: Roll The Dice – Honey Cuts dies. Of course, an olive and a lime were added to the drinks! The drink glasses were cut from a warm gray cardstock and the inside from the same blush cardstock that I used for the hearts. I also added the XOXO from the Great Greetings: Love – Honey Cuts dies and the sentiment, “Cheers to our Friendship” from the sets, Love You, Friend 4×6 Stamp Set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies.
