Happy Wednesday Honey Bee Scrap Fans!

Kendra here from Luv 2 Scrap N’ Make Cards to share a card with you using some fun stamps from Honey Bee Scraps!

This week’s “Wordy Wednesday” Sentiment is….counting my blessings!

I started out knowing that I wanted to use the beautiful floral image from the Not Too Shabby stamp set!!

I ended up deciding to use it to create a card, so my next step was deciding what sentiment I wanted to use!

Creating a “thank you” card came to mind with the beautiful flowers.

So the “counting my blessings” sentiment was the perfect stamp to use, which is part of the Oh, Snap set!!

Now that I have shared my card with you, I would like to show you how I created the background behind the flowers!

First, start by collecting your supplies:

Painters Tape

Now you are ready to try this super fun and simple technique!!

Cut the cardstock to the size you would like.

Next, is the fun part!

Normally I used the larger ink pads and just lay the tape, sticky side down on the pad and rub my fingers across, to pick up the ink, but in this case, the colors I wanted to use I only have available in small sizes.

So then I lay the painter’s tape sticky side up and press the ink pad across it, as shown below:

Ink up to your desire!

Here is what it should look like, depending on how much ink you decide you want to use.

And finally for the last fun part!

Carefully pick up the tape and the press onto your cardstock!

Again, my card:

You can use multiple colors or even just one!

Hope I have inspired you to try out this technique!!

Have a wonderful day!!
