Hello Honey Bee Friends! Leanne here today and I’m sharing another card featuring the Bee Bold Alphabet Honey Cuts.  I have really been loving the look of these letters on my cards.  They are perfect for building a custom sentiment and make such a big impact.  I have also used many other Honey Bee products to create this Halloween scene so let’s get started.

I first prepared the background panel by ink blending some Dusty Concord and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks over an 8.5″ by 4″ panel.  I then splattered it very generously with black and white paint.  I used Mowed Lawn Distress Ink to color two strips of grass which were die cut with the Grass Border Honey Cuts.  I then stamped and colored all the images with Copic markers.  These images are from Hey, Pumpkin and Acorn Sisters.  I die cut some vellum clouds using the Partly Cloudy Honey Cuts.  I used the Stacking Stars Honey Cuts to die cut several of the smallest star from pale yellow card stock. The first part of the sentiment “witching you a happy” is from the Hey, Pumpkin set.  I stamped it in black ink and used a banner from the Sentiment Banners Honey Cuts to die cut. Lastly, I die cut all the letters to spell Halloween using the Bee Bold Alphabet Honey Cuts.

I built this scene in layers. I added the tallest grass border first, then the girl sitting on the large pumpkin, and then the letters to spell out Halloween.  I added the small pumpkins by nestling them in between the big letters.  I then added the other grass border in front of everything.  All these layers help give the illusion of depth to the scene.  I added the sentiment banner just slightly overlapping the trees.  To finish, I added the clouds and stars to the sky area.

I hope you will give the Bee Bold Alphabet Honey Cuts a try to create your own impactful custom sentiment. Thanks so much for joining me! Until next Thursday, have a great week!

Leanne 🙂
