Hello, friends and happy Tuesday!! Brenda here with a tropical card featuring the Beach Please Stamp Set that is perfect for a summer birthday!!

I began by stamping the beach scene and sentiment from the Beach Please Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I colored the image with Copic markers, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

For the background, I tore a piece of white cardstock for the sand and blended Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Inks onto it using blending brushes. I used the cloud stencil from the Outdoor Scene Builder Stencil Set and Speckled Egg Distress Ink on another panel of white cardstock for the sky. The sky was masked off with Pixie Tape and the water was blended using Salty Ocean Distress Ink. A paintbrush dipped in plain water was swiped onto the water to create some movement and diluted Black Soot Distress Ink was splattered onto the sand. Once dry, the sand and background panel were both die-cut with the third largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set and they were adhered together with Bee Creative Glue. The largest die in the Lovely Layouts: Posted Die Set was cut from teal cardstock and all the panels were adhered to a white A2 card base, also using Bee Creative Glue.

The scene die-cut was adhered to the background with Bee Creative Glue and the sentiment was popped up with foam tape. I added some highlights with a white gel pen to finish off the card.

I wish I was relaxing in one of those chairs right now!!

That’s it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Brenda
