Hello, crafty friends and happy Tuesday!! I hope your week is off to a great start!!
Lately, I’ve been having a love affair with light pink and white, apparently!! I always LOVE pink, so I guess it shouldn’t be such a big surprise, but I’ve been loving it with pure white!! My card today is no exception!!
I began by die-cutting the layers for the rose from white cardstock and the leaves and stem from green cardstock using the Lovely Layers: Roses Honey Cuts. I blended Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks onto the roses and Evergreen Bough onto the leaves with blending brushes. I stacked and adhered all of the layers together with Bee Creative Glue.
For the background, I die-cut the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set from light pink cardstock and embossed it with the Kaleidoscope 3D Embossing Folder. I rolled Bee Creative White Pigment Ink lightly over the panel with a brayer to lighten the raised areas. Once the ink was dry, I adhered it to an A2 white card base with Bee Creative Glue. I wanted my panel to be even lighter, so I die-cut a piece of vellum with the third largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangle Die Set and also ran that through my die-cut machine with the Kaleidoscope 3D Embossing Folder. The rose was adhered to the vellum with Bee Creative Glue.
The sentiment, from the Inside: Kindness Sentiments Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. I popped it up onto the vellum with foam tape. Next, I added Bee Creative Glue to the back of the vellum, behind the rose and sentiment to hide the glue, then lined up and adhered the vellum to the pink panel. A few pearls from the Cool Pearls Sticker Pack were the perfect finishing touch.
That’s it for me today!! Thanks so much for spending a bit of time with me!! I’ll see you next Tuesday!!

This card is beautiful! I like all the pink, and your rose is so pretty. I’m crazy about the embossed and inked background, especially the embossed vellum.
