Hello, Honey Bee friends and happy Tuesday!! Brenda here with a card that’s perfect to welcome a new neighbor to your neighborhood!! I combined lots of goodies from the newest Simply Spring Release!!
I started by die-cutting the adorable house and fence in the Spring Cottage Village Honey Cuts from white, tan and two colors of brown cardstock. I added a bit of yellow cardstock behind the windows to make it appear as though the lights are on and adhered all of the pieces together with Bee Creative Glue. I also die-cut the clouds in the Cottage Countryside Die Set from white cardstock.
Next, I die-cut a panel of white cardstock using one of the dies in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangle Die Set and blended it with Distress Oxide Inks using blending brushes. I used Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron for the grass and Tumbled Glass for the sky. Once the ink was dry, the clouds and the fence were adhered with liquid glue and the house was popped up with foam tape. The scalloped panel was cut from brown cardstock with a die in the Scallop A2 Card Frames Die Set and the rectangle panel was adhered to it with liquid glue. The sentiment, from the No Place Like Home Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with brown ink, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam adhesive.
A panel of white cardstock was embossed with the Dogwood Blooms 3D Embossing Folder. I used the largest rectangle in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangle Die Set to cut a panel of dark brown cardstock and adhered the embossed panel to it with liquid glue. The scalloped panel was adhered with foam tape for even more dimension and this card was finished.
I don’t make this type of card very often, but it will be nice to have it in my stash for this particular occasion if I need it!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great Tuesday and I’ll see you next week!!
