I have a card to share today that features the Lovely Layers: Hammock Dies and the Beach Break A2 Cover Plate Die and Coordinating Stencil Set!!
I began by die-cutting the Lovely Layers: Hammock Die Set from brown, white, two shades of blue and three shades of green cardstock. The pillows were die-cut from pattern paper in the Pinstripes & Polka Dots: Spring Paper Pad and all the pieces were adhered together with Bee Creative Glue.
Next, I die-cut the sand in the Beach Break A2 Cover Plate Die Set from cream cardstock and the water from white cardstock. I blended the sand with Antique Linen, Tea Dye and Vintage Photo Distress Inks, using the Beach Break Stencil Set and blending brushes. The water portion was blended with Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean and Uncharted Mariner Distress Inks, also using the Beach Break Stencils, then it was adhered to the sand background with Bee Creative Glue. The palm trees, hammock and pillows were adhered to the background, also using liquid glue.
To finish, the sentiment, from the Rest & Relaxation Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with blue dye ink, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape.
