Hi Everyone! Leanne West here with you to share a quick and easy teacher card. Today was the first day back to school for my kiddos. So in the spirit of back to school, I decided to make a teacher thank you card using the Special Teacher stamp set and coordinating Special Teacher Honey Cuts dies.
I decided on a navy, mint green, and red color scheme. I picked out some pattern papers and card stock from my stash for all the die cut elements of the card. I used the Stacking Stars Honey Cuts dies to cut three different sized stars for the main focal points. I cut a few of the tiniest star as an embellishment. I built a custom sentiment using the words from the Special Teacher stamp set.
I used the largest of the A2 Double Stitched Frames Honey Cuts to die cut a panel from kraft card stock. This serves as a base for the star arrangement. I die cut the word teacher from some navy card stock three times and adhered them together to give a more dimensional and bold look. The last element I wanted to add was an apple. I used one of the apple images from the Bushel and A Peck stamp set and colored with Copic markers.
For the inside of the card I built another custom sentiment using the words from the Special Teacher stamp set. It’s really a great set if you plan on making many teacher cards. There’s so many different sentiment possibilities so you can build just the perfect one.
This card was very easy to make and came together quickly with the help of some the these newest Honey Bee stamps and dies. I hope I given you some fun ideas for using them. Thanks for stopping by!
