Good morning! Emily Midgett here with you today using an oldie-but-goodie set from Honeybee: Hello Gorgeous. I’m sure you’ve noticed by now that I love flowers, and the Hello Gorgeous set has some lovely arrangements, especially when combined with the Country Wreath set.
I started by stamping and heat embossing a few arrangements and the wreath from Country Wreath and Hello Gorgeous using some pretty platinum embossing powder onto watercolor paper. I die cut them out using the coordinating dies, then watercolored them using the Tropical Prima Paint Palette. Such pretty paints… I can’t wait to play with them more. I love that the Honey Bee store carries such an array of supplies, in addition to the Honey Bee line!
After I had painted my flowers and wreath, I die cut and stamped the greeting using the Hello Gorgeous dies. I also die cut a Hexagon Cover Plate from some pale pearlescent blush shimmer card stock, then layered it over an A2 panel of blush card stock.
I arranged all of my die cuts on my card front, then adhered them using dimensional foam adhesive. Lots of texture to help break up this someone monotone card front!
Well, that’s all for me today. I hope you enjoyed this project! We are supposed to have a high of <40* on Easter Sunday, so I’ll be channeling spring with some pretty pastel cards for a bit longer. Have a marvelous day, and a very happy Easter holiday!
