Hi peeps! How’s thing going. Vera here today to share some Honey Bee love.
Since I was a kid, I always love succulent plants (mostly because I don’t have green thumb and these seems to be the only kind that survive my brown thumb). And, of course, they’re all the trend right now.So, for my card today, I chose to play with Stick With Me set.
Isn’t this such a fun set? I just love the mix and match possibilities of this set. To make this card, I started with adding colors directly on the card base. Using the edge of scrap paper and ink dauber I added soft shadow for the potted plants base. I love adding shade this way to a simple card as it create more interest.
Once that done, I stamped, colored and die cut the pots and succulents. It took me a while before I figured out a composition that I like. But, that’s the fun part, right? I feel like playing in real succulent garden without having to worry of damaging or messing them up. Once I decided on the arrangement I adhere all of them with pop-dots. I am a big fan of using pop-dots on my cards. 🙂
Then simply stamped the sentiment on a strip of cardstock and again adhere them with pop-dots and for final embellishments I added some dew drops from Daffodil Dew Drop collection. And, that’s it.
Well peeps, that’s all from me today. I hope you enjoy today’s card and thank you so much for stopping by here. Wishing you a beautiful Thursday!
