Thank You for Your Kindness
Hi friends! Leanne here with you today to share a thank you card with a bit of a fall vibe. My card features the fabulous tree branch image from the Birds And The Bees stamp set. I love this branch image because it’s so versatile and can be used on a card for just about any occasion.
I stamped out three of the branch image, the birdhouse, and two birds. I colored the images with Copic markers, added some details with a white gel pen and then cut them out with the coordinating Birds And The Bees Honey Cuts. I used the second largest die from the Stitched Scallop Squares Honey Cuts to cut out a panel from white card stock. I used some low tack tape to mask the scallop edge and with an ink smooshing technique I colored unmasked part of the scallop panel. I used a mix of Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass, and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink. I splattered some dark grey ink on the panel and then removed the tape.
I adhered all the images with foam squares. I used one whole branch image and then pieces of the other branch images to fill in the scene. I added the birds and birdhouse while making sure to leave an open space to add a sentiment. On some dark grey card stock, I stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment from the Goodness Gracious stamp set. For a little embellishment, I added a few dots of Nuvo Crystal Drops Pearls in Copper Penny. That finished off the focal point panel and I adhered it to a 5.5″ x 5.5″ card base.
Thank you for joining me! Have a wonderful day!
