Hello everyone! AmyR here today with a tea-themed card that was completely inspired by a piece of patterned paper.

I used Honey Bee’s Tea Time stamp set and created masks from Post-It Notes for several of the images. I then stamped and masked the images to create the stack of tea cups.

I stamped all the images with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto Distress Watercolor paper, then coloured them in with my Tombow Dual Brush pens and a water brush.

The patterned paper that inspired the card I adhered to the card base, then popped up the main panel (that I’d die cut with Honey Bee’s A2 Double Stitched Frames Honey Cuts Dies) with foam tape.

The die cut sentiment is from Honey Bee’s Gift Card Slots Honey Cuts Dies. I ran some black card stock through my Xyron Sticker Maker, die cut it 3 times with the “enjoy” wafer die then stacked them together before adding to my card.

On the inside of the card I stamped a sentiment from Honey Bee’s Perfect Blend stamp set. I then used one of the Gift Card Slots Honey Cuts dies on the heart patterned paper to cut out the perfectly placed slots. After adhering the paper to the inside of the card it holds a gift card in place!

To see how this card came together check out my video below:

Thanks so much for joining me today! All the supplies used are linked here at the end of the post!

    Hi Amy!
The card is adorable and I love the colors you used to color the images! I learned some great tips from watching the video and ‘pinned’ it so that I can refer back to it when needed. I never considered using the Post-It notes in the stamp positioner! What a great idea. Thanks for sharing!!!
