Hello friends! Happy new week! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio today and I have these fun die cut gift tags to share with you. They are super easy to make and great to add to your gifts!
I make these seasonal gift tags once every few months so I can add them to my packages. I shared the winter themed ones and the spring ones before. I first go through my entire die collection and pick out the ones I want to use based on the design and size. For today’s tags, I used many summer themed dies. I personally love making shaped tags, but you could totally use the tag dies and add these die cuts on top. Honey Bee Stamps has variety of great tag dies including the Free Bees!
Once you selected the dies to use, you can simply die cut them and make them into tags by threading a piece of twine or ribbon. TIP: Since colored card stocks and pattern papers are little thinner, I die cut an extra layer and glued on the back. If your die cut doesn’t have a hole for the twine, you can either use a hole punch or adding a loop like I did for some of the tags. Here are the die sets I used:
Bag & hat: Lovely Layers: At the Beach
Shells: Lovely Layers: Small Seashells, Lovely Layers: Seashore
Hibiscus: Tropical Bouquets
Flip Flops: Flip Flop Builder
Ice Cream: Lovely Layers: Cupcakes & More
Sentiment banner: Free Bee Tag
Hole reinforcer (to use as a loop): Terrific Tags
Thank you sentiment: Mini Messages
These are very simple tags, but you can add some interest with few easy steps.
*Adding Glossy Accents
*Adding clear gel pen details
*Tracing the embossed details with fine marker
*Adding glitter
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful week!!
