Hi peeps! How’s it going? Vera here, bringing you our regular Thursday Honey Bee inspiration. This week is a very hectic week for me as we are in the process of moving to our new home. I am excited and exhausted at the same time. We’ve been waiting for this moment and now it’s here. I had to work in advance for all my design team assignment and let just say trying to work with most of my craft stuff packed was quite a challenge. 😉
Returning to card, here’s my card for today.
I just love playing with Stick With Me set. And, when I was feeling stumped somehow this set help get my mojo in swing. Must be my love of succulent that draw me to it. I started by inking a couple soft colors to the card panel using the top layer from the Hexagon Layering Background stencil set. Gotta love this hexagon stencil. They are fun to use.
Once that done, I stamped the succulent and die cut them using the matching Stick With Me dies, then colored them with Copic.
Once that done, I played with the arrangement till I figure out one that I like and adhere them to the panel. I adhere the tall cactus with regular glue and the others with pop dots to create depth. I like making my cards this way. Then I adhere the panel to the card base and finished by stamping the heart and the word Hello from Simple Sentiment set.
Well peeps, that’s all from me today. I hope you enjoy today’s inspiration. Thank you for stopping by here and may your Thursday be an awesome one!
