Hello crafty friends! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio here for you today with this friendship themed card. I just love this new Friendship stamp set so much so I decided to make a card for my dear friend back in Ohio (yes, it’s you Nancy!).

This card is rather simple in design because I wanted the sentiment to be the star of the show! I started by making a ink blended background. On a piece of A2 sized white card stock (I used Neenah 80lb), I blended in some distress inks for the sky. The colors I used are from the top of the panel: Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers, Lucky Clover, and Twisted Citron. After inks are blended, I lightly sprayed some water to add the texture. Then, using Winter Wonder Background Stencil, I added the mountain range in a distance and silhouette of the grass. I used Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot (on the edge) for the mountains,  and Black Soot for the grass. I stamped the tree from Silent Night stamp set twice to set the scene. The sweet sentiment is white heat embossed along with some stars (also from the same stamp set), and tiny white dots were added using white gel pen. I also added a little bit of water around the stars to remove the ink so it looks like they are shining bright.

To complete background, I added the grass border die cut from velum, and on top, I foam mounted a snowy ground die cut from glitter card stock. Then, I stamped and colored (with Copics) the cute bunny from Silent Night stamp set and die cut him out with the coordinating die. You could probably tell that I just adore this little guy since he appears on multiple of the cards I made! I adhered him and added shading on the ground with some gray Copics. As a final touch, I added white glittery twine and the card is finished!

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Wishing you a wonderful week!
KEIKO
