Hello everyone! Leanne here today. I’m sharing a rustic fall card which features images from the Sweet Sunflowers Stamp Set. I love the big sunflower image from this set, but coloring such a detailed image is a little intimidating for me. So I decided to stamp all the images onto some beautiful patterned paper from the Autumn Afternoon Paper Pad.

I wanted this card to have a rustic country vibe. The muted colors in the Autumn Afternoon pad were perfect. I simply stamped the sunflower, leaves, and wheat right onto the patterned paper. I picked out some subtle patterns for stamping on. I stamped a second sunflower on a dark brown sheet and fussy cut the center out. I then adhered the brown center to the yellow sunflower. I generously splattered all the images with white and brown paint to add to the rustic look.

Once I had all the images ready, I started assembling the card. I started with an A7 white card base. I layered two different patterns to create some interest behind my sunflower spray. I adhered the arrangement with Thin Dimensional Foam Squares. I added the greeting which is also from the Sweet Sunflowers set. For a little extra embellishment, I added a twine bow and a few sequins. Lastly, I could resist adding a couple of cute paper pieced bees to complete this card.
