Hello friends! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio here today! I have this cute mason jar shaped card to share with you. Cherry blossom is in full bloom now in where I live and I incorporated several of them in this card.

For the background, I die cut a front panel using Mason Jar Card die(you only need a half of this for background). Then I stamped two tree branches from Silent Night set. In order to make them look like cherry blossoms, I first blended Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink around the trees, then blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink for the rest of the sky. I added some splatters both in pink (around the tree) and blue to add texture. I die cut the bottom part of the mason jar from white card stock to make two grass borders. They were inked with green inks using blending tool.

Then I stamped all the images I used and colored them with Copics. Bunnies are from Snow Buddies set, and all the other elements are from Bill the Bear set. I then used the coordinating  die to cut them out. I arranged all the die cut pieces on the front panel, and glued them down with liquid adhesive. Few clouds were die cut from textured white paper and added to balance out the entire scene.

Now the hard part is over! Cut out another mason jar panel from acetate, and heat emboss the sentiment (from Friendship) using white embossing powder. I die cut the jar lid 3 times (twice from white card stock and once from silver foil card stock). Also die cut a mason jar shaped card base out of heavy weight white card stock and scored on the top. I adhered the front panel to the card base, added 2 white jar lid with glue, and then layered the acetate on and finished with the silver lid on top. Since I have layers of elements on the front, adding these extra lid die cuts would help the acetate to lay flat.

You can add ribbons, twines or little bell (or all three of them like me) to finish off the card.

Thank you for stopping by!
Have a wonderful week!!

KEIKO
