Hello friends! Leanne here and I have a very festive holiday card to share today. I’ve used the Globe & Ornament Shaker Card Honey Cuts to create a snow globe shaped card. To decorate the outside of the snow globe, I used some stamps and dies from the Season To Sparkle release.

Below is a linked list of the Honey Bee supplies I’ve used to create my card:

The snow globe shaker is easy to assemble. I die cut the pieces from heavy weight white card stock for most of it. I used Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink to color the background inside the shaker. To add shading to the base, I used some cool grey Copic markers. I die cut the outer circle frame of the snow globe from some Craft Perfect Halo Waves Mirror Card stock. I stamped the greeting onto the background before filling with artificial snow and chunky glitter.

To decorate the outside, I added the Santa gnome, holly leaves, and bow. I die cut the holly and bow from white card stock and then used Copic markers to color and add shading. I used a white gel pen to add highlight details. The white gel pen I’ve linked is one I’ve been using for quite awhile and it’s the best one I’ve tried. They last a long time and result in a nice opaque white line. I wanted to add little extra embellishment so I adhered a few sequins and tiny snowflake confetti randomly around the outside.

As you can see from this photo of the inside of the card, I made a score line towards the top of a second snow globe and adhered to the front, above that score line. This is the easiest way to create a card with shaped die cuts. To complete the card, I stamped a sentiment and snowflakes on the inside.
