Hello everyone and welcome back!!  Today’s card features some good ‘ol stamping and die-cutting.  This is a super simple card that came together very quickly and also helped use up some scrap cardstock!

I started with a top fold card base made from Neenah Desert Storm.  I took the larger open heart stamp from the Beautiful Life set and stamped it repeatedly in Versamark ink directly on the cardbase.  And because I’m addicted to it right now, I used Silver Pearl Embossing Powder from Ranger.

I went through my scrap papers and found some white (of course), some blue and a piece of vellum.  I die cut the blue cardstock with a stitched circle die and the white cardstock with an older doily die from MFT.  I actually ended up NOT using the vellum.

I stamped the single arrow image from the Hello Gorgeous stamp set onto the blue cardstock and used the Co-Ordinating Die to cut it out.  I used the small heart die in the Beautiful Life Honey-Cuts set and die cut that from the same kraft cardstock.  I used a black fine-liner pen to add some stitch detail to the heart.  I snipped the arrow image in half to make it appear longer, as I knew I was going to place it underneath the heart die.

The sentiment simply says “love” which also comes from the Hello Gorgeous stamp set.  I layered all my die cut pieces together using foam adhesive.  Before adhering it down to the card, I decided to dig some ribbon out of my stash.  I always stick a piece of ribbon directly to the card and then tie a bow separately.  And as a final touch, I placed three Rhinestones to give it a little sparkle!!

And here is the full finished card:

Thank you so much for visiting today!!  Happy Wednesday 🙂
