Hello! It’s Bobbi and I’m sharing some quick and easy thank you cards. They say a thankful heart is a happy heart. I totally agree. I love to have thank you cards on-hand, ready to express my gratitude at anytime. Sometimes I just need a card that I can write a note inside like the “awesome” card above. Other times, it’s fun to tuck a gift card inside to our local coffee or ice cream shops. I like the Frappe Shaker card for this purpose.

While these cards are light on layers and elements, they are fully loaded with lots of color and energy.  I didn’t need my Copic markers for these. All I needed was my Ranger Distressed Inks and some perfect phrases.

I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products to create these vibrant thank yous.

Awesome Card

For the 5″ X 7″ card, I blended several colors of distressed inks on 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock. I used Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron and Mermaid Lagoon to create a rainbow of color. Next, I speckled water on the ink and used a paper towel to blot the excess water, creating the cool water spots. To finish this card, I stamped the phrase from the Awesome Sauce stamp set in black and embossed the “awesome you are” phrase using white embossing powder on black cardstock.  I popped up the embossed phrase using dimensional foam underneath and adhered it to the card. This card is done and ready to send!

Frappe Card

For my next card, I used the Frappe Shaker Die set. I used my watercolor inks to create a rainbow of color on Canson Watercolor XL paper. I splattered white paint on top of the watercolor once it was dry. I cut the main part of the drink out of this sheet. I also die cut the straw out of fuchsia cardstock and the top dome cover out of vellum paper. I cut the rest of the pieces out of the white cardstock and adhered the pieces together to create this tasty drink. Lastly, I stamped the phrase from the One-of-a-Kind stamp set using black ink on white cardstock and cut it out using my cutter and a rounded corner punch. The phrase was popped up using dimensional foam underneath. A little Baker’s Twine finishes off this card.

Thanks for stopping by today. A thankful heart is a happy heart. Let your gratitude show in full color!
