I created this card to be part of Jennifer Mcguire’s Share Handmade Kindness Campaign.

I used Honey Bee Stamps “Beautiful Life” and “Special Delivery” sets to create this sweet card to surprise a friend.  The sentiment came from “Beautiful Life” and it’s so fun–we should all just throw kindness around like it’s confetti!  Kindness is free and yet, it’s value cannot be measured!  The fun little envelopes and heart stamp came from the “Special Delivery” set.

This technique is super simple but gets stunning results–all you need to do is to heat emboss your images on white paper with clear or white embossing powder, and then use watercolor over the image to make them pop!   I used a basic Crayola watercolor pallet and my handy dandy waterbrush.  I matted my background piece and my sentiment on black paper and attached some clear iridescent sequins with tiny glue dots to finish off my card.

I hope you will consider creating and sharing handmade kindness this holiday season, and the whole year through!  If you are a crafter, you probably already do!  Thank you for making someone’s day with a gift from your heart!
