Hello there! Leanne here and I’m sharing another fall card today. I love sweater weather season and I couldn’t resist using the adorable Fox from the Warm Wishes stamp set. This is such a fun little set and has many options for adding a small icon to the fox’s sweater.
I started by preparing the focal point panel which I die cut with the Scallop A2 Card Frames Honey Cuts. I then used the cloud stencil from the Outdoor Scene Builder Stencil set and some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink to create the sky. I used Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink to color the ground area. I colored the fox and some leaves from Warm Wishes with Copic Markers. My go to Copic combo for foxes is E13, E,15, and E17.
After I added the fox and leaves to the scene, I knew where I had room to add the stamped part of the sentiment (also from Warm Wishes). I then used the Bee Bold Alphabet Honey Cuts for the word Fall. I wanted the letters to coordinate with the fox’s sweater so I colored a piece of white card stock with the same Copics I used – E71, E74, and E77. I created a custom plaid pattern and die cut the letters from that. I adhered the letters with the Darice Double Sided Foam Sticky Strips – perfect for these die cut letters. I added some teal pattern paper behind the scallop panel and adhered to an A2 card base.
I’m loving the look of the Bee Bold Alphas on a card. If you do too, please join me again next Thursday… I’ve got another project to share using them 😉
Have a wonderful day!
