Hey there everyone! Welcome back to the Honey Bee Stamps blog!

I was inspired to use the Prayers Sentiment Honey Cut Dies  and Stamp Set when I heard about how many people, many my age (14), lost their lives a few days ago. I’ve been praying for their families and loved ones.

I started of with a sheet of translucent Yupo Paper from Ranger. Next, I scribbled four  Copic Markers in coordinating colors all along the paper and sprinkled some Ranger Alcohol Blending Solution on it to get that nice marble effect. I then added a few drops of Ranger Silver Mixative and used a straw to blow it around.

Next I used a scrap of the original background and cut out  “Prayers” with the Honey Bee Stamps Prayers Honey Cut Dies. Then I stamped the “Sending” from the  Honey Bee Stamps Prayers Stamp Set on a small piece of white card stock layered on top of a slightly larger piece of silver glitter paper.

Finally, I used some fun foam to pop up the whole thing and used some Nuvo Liquid Adhesive to adhere it to a top-folding card base.

It’s a lovely card, Emily. I’m so sorry you and youth your age have to worry about things like gunmen shooting and killing children and youth in your schools. We adults have a lot to answer for on that score. Sending you hugs and promising you that so many of us know that prayers are not enough and we are pushing for action that will make a difference.
