Saturday’s Stamping with Tabitha
Tabitha here with this Saturday’s stamping project. I created this 4×4 to use in layout of my upcoming road trip down south for my little sister’s wedding!! I used my “No Place Like Home” stamps by Honey Bee Scraps, some DCWV patterned paper, some yellow striped washi tape, a few hot pink sequins, some foam mounting squares, and a needle and thread for this card.
I stamped the US map and fussy cut it out and used foam mounting tape to adhere to my card for dimension–but if you have a way to use SVG files, Honey Bee Scraps has coordinating SVGs in the Etsy shop for current Honey Bee Scraps stamp sets and that would be so neat when making this, and other cards with this stamp!
Note that I used the little pin stamp to denote the start and end points for my travel path, and then needle and thread and a back-stitch to show our route. I love the texture that a little stitching adds, and by using the foam mounting squares to adhere to the card you don’t have to worry about it laying flat against your other layers.
This card came together surprisingly quickly and was inspired by a prompt in the Project Life Card Swap Facebook group that I am a member of–grab your own bit of pink, blue, red, and yellow, a needle and thread, and some sequins and see what you can create!
