Hello crafty friends! Happy new week! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio. Hope you are enjoying all the summery project inspirations by the design team using the new Sunkissed Summer release! For my card today, I used new dies, stamp, 3D embossing folder, and pattern paper and made this fun stack of rainbow colored suitcases! It really is pretty easy design to recreate. Pretty much all you need to do is die cut and glue!

For the background, I cut the striped pattern paper from the new Grab Your Passport pattern paper pad to A7 size (5″x7″) and glue it on the card base. I then used the new Air Mail 3D embossing folder on a piece of A7 sized cream card stock and trim off the sides a little to show the striped border when it is layered on the card base. I wish you could see all the amazing embossed detail. It is unbelievable!!

I then die cut all the elements from the scrap of rainbow card stocks in my stash. Here are the die sets I used:
Lovely Layers: Small Suitcases
Lovely Layers: Globe
Lovely Layers: At the Beach (hat)

The sentiment is from the new Plane Awesome set and I stamped it on a piece of cream card stock with brown ink and cut it into a banner shape and attached it on the cute little airplane. You can use a thread, or embroidery floss but I found the end of the new Hammock die was perfect for this. Now you can simply adhere all the elements and this card is done! Here are some TIPs when assembling:
* I added extra layer to all the suitcases and few decorative elements to make them sturdier and stand out a little more from the background.
* Use strong liquid glue or foam tapes to adhere the elements to the 3D embossed background.
* Adding a small detail makes a huge difference. I added Glossy Accents to most of the pieces and pen details to the locks, globe, hat, road sign, etc.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful week!!
