Hello everyone! Leanne here today and I have a fun card idea to share that features some cute images from the Spring Chicks stamp set. I kept this design fairly simple, allowing the bold greeting and bright rainbow colors to stand out. I love all the puns in the EGGcelent Sentiments stamp set. It was a sentiment from that set which inspired this design and the colorful row of chicks or “peeps” in this case.

I started with an A2 white card base. I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and a blending brush to lightly apply color onto the top and sides of the card front. I added a strip of rainbow stripe patterned paper to the bottom edge. I then added the die cut grass layer. I die cut the letters to spell “peeps” using the Bee Bold Alphabet Honey Cuts. All pattern paper used for this card is from Over The Rainbow 6×6 Pad.

I stamped and Copic colored five little chicks and a few egg images from the Spring Chicks stamp set. I used one of the chick images twice – one is standing and one is tucked inside the egg shell to get a different look. I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink towards the top of the card. I then adhered the word “peeps” with small dimensional foam squares right above the row of chicks. Lastly, I tied some baker’s twine around the bottom of the card front.
