Hi there. It’s Bobbi Lemanski here with a pet sympathy card. Losing a pet is so hard. It impacts the whole family. It’s nice to let those going through this difficult time that you are thinking of them. The Rainbow Bridge stamp set has many wonderful phrases to express your condolences. My card today is quick and easy because it uses a pattern paper for the background. I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

Puppy Dog Tails stamp and coordinating die set (Check out Smitten Kitten, too!)

Rainbow Bridge stamp set (there is a coordinating die set available, too.)

Team Tie-Dye 6″ X 6″ paper pad

My card measures 5″ wide X 7″ tall. I started by covering the top portion with a 5″ X 6″ rainbow pattern paper from the Team Tie-Dye 6″ X 6″ paper pad. I added a 1″ strip of black cardstock at the bottom to cover the front panel of my white card base. Next, I stamped the rainbow phrase and paw prints at the top using Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I stamped in Versamark and heat embossed in white the “thinking of you” phrase.

I stamped, colored and die cut the three dogs and the empty dog bed from the Puppy Dog Tails stamp and coordinating die sets. I used Copic Markers to color them including:

  • Dogs: E59, E57, E53, E51, E50, E43, C5, C3, and C1.
  • Dog Bed: R89, R46, R37, R24, R17, R14, E55, E5, E55, E53, E43 and C3. I also used a fine-tip black marker for the pattern.

The stamped elements were secured in place with Bee Creative Precision Glue adhesive. The small dog in the forefront was attached using a foam cushion to create dimension.
