Happy Monday Friends, Ilda here!

Have you seen the gorgeous new Embossing Powders that will be available soon from Honey Bee Stamps?!

The Bee’s Knees Embossing Powder Trio was designed exclusively for Honey Bee Stamps by Honey Bee and the WOW! Teams in a collaborative effort. The Trio will be available on Wednesday, June 19 in the store. They are so Sparkly and Shiny I think you will love them!

For today’s card, I am sharing a card I finished making using the colorings from Kathy Racoosin’s 30 Day Coloring Challenge. Speaking of which and also as one of Kathy’s Goodwill Ambassadors, for those of you that are participating in the challenge, you may also want to check out the Honey Bee Stamps | Buzzworthy Challenges on Facebook as our Team is a huge fan of Kathy’s Coloring Challenge. So, for Challenge 31 color all the Honey Bee Stamps things!!!  Be sure to upload your coloring to the Challenge 31 Album to be entered to win a $15 gift card! ALSO…. as a BONUS…. HB Stamps will be picking an additional winner from Instagram. Just tag #honeybeestamps and tag #thedailymarker30day For more info on the challenge click HERE.

CARD DETAILS

So now let’s get on with today’s Sparkly card.  I started by stamping out the images from the SPRING PEONY set onto watercolor paper using Fadeout Ink. I then colored the images in using Kuretake Gansai Tambi Water Colors. Once everything was dry I die cut the images using the coordinating SPRING PEONY HONEY CUTS and set the pieces aside to work on the background for the card.

To the background, I used Juicy Ink over one of the DIAMOND PATTERNS Stencils then sprinkled on the BEE TRUE Embossing powder and Heat set it. I then played with the layout of the flowers and glued them in place.

To finish off the card and the greeting, I die cut all of the BLOOM HONEY CUT layers using white cardstock. I then inked out top scripted Bloom with Juicy Ink and then heat set it with the BEE SWEET Embossing Powder. To the next shadow layer, I repeated the same process only this time using the BEE KIND Embossing Powder. I then glued both layers together and glued them to the dotted shadow layer that I then foam mounted to the center of the cluster of flowers. Love how sparkly these powder are and how well they work together!

Next, I stamped out the “YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL” from the BLOOM stamp set and then used one of the banners from the SENTIMENT BANNER DIES to die cut the greeting and then just glued it in place.

Hope you were inspired by my floral card today featuring the Bee’s Knees Embossing Powder Trio. Stay tuned for more embossing awesomeness coming this week from the Team. Don’t forget this trio will be available Wednesday, June 19th at Honey Bee Stamps Store!

Thanks for stopping by, until next time Happy Crafting!

Hugs, Ilda
