Hello Bee lovers! It’s Bobbi Lemanski sharing a card featuring new Holiday Wishes Release products by Honey Bee Stamps. I am super excited about this card because it came out so beautiful, even prettier than I had even envisioned. These products are just so lovely together. My card features the following products:
Peace Love Joy stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies
Decorative Star Layering Frames – Honey Cuts dies
Christmas Market Add-On Honey Cuts dies
The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.
To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I started by stamping, coloring and die cutting the peace, love, and joy words using the Peace Love Joy stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies on white cardstock. I colored the words using reds and greens. I used Copic Sketch Markers: YG67, YG63, YG61, R29, R24, and R22.
From white cardstock, I die cut the pretty vine frame from the Decorative Star Layering Frames – Honey Cuts dies. I used the marker colors listed above to color the leaves and berries that outline the scalloped frame, keeping it soft and light.
For the background, I cut pattern papers from the the Holiday Wishes Paper Pad. The floral was cut 5″ wide X 7″ tall and the plaid to 5″ wide X 1″ tall. I layered the pattern papers and the scallop frame. I added faux white stitches to the sides of the band. Next, I attached the three word die cuts using foam tabs to make them stand out. I stacked them in a vertical row with the middle word placement on the band. I also glued the “wishing you” sentiment above the first word, at the top.
I added additional details to the card using cute elements from the Christmas Market Add-On Honey Cuts dies. I love the cute wreath, stockings, pine garland and holly sprig. I added ALL of them to this card, coloring them in the same shades as the letters. They are the perfect images to adorn these word sentiments. I added a little sparkle using the Holiday Wishes Gem Stickers on the stockings and wreath to complete the look.
