Hello, Honey Bee friends!! Brenda back with you today!! I’m sure those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving are in the midst of preparing for the holiday!! I’m busy trying to get my Christmas cards ready to send out!! The card I’m sharing today features the beautiful Floral Noel set!! This suite includes a stamp set, coordinating stencil and a coordinating die set!!
I began by stenciling “NOEL” from the Floral Noel Stencil Set onto white cardstock using dye inks and a combination of large and detail blending brushes. A white gel pen was used to add some stamen to the flowers and highlights on the berries. I used the Coordinating Die to cut the letters out. I LOVE that one die cuts out all the letters!! I also die-cut the letters three more times from heavyweight white cardstock and used Bee Creative Glue to adhere them behind the the stenciled ones.
For the background, I die-cut the poinsettia pattern paper from the North Pole Paper Pad with the third largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set. I trimmed a piece of white cardstock slightly larger, then die-cut a panel of red cardstock using the large postage die in the Lovely Layouts: Posted Die Set. All the layers were adhered together using Bee Creative Glue. A panel of vellum was die-cut using a die from the Opulent Layering Frames Die Set.
The “Sending You Love & Peace” sentiments are from the Floral Noel Stamp Set. They were stamped at the top and bottom of the vellum panel using Bee Creative Embossing Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. The “NOEL” letters were adhered to the vellum with Bee Creative Glue and then the vellum panel was adhered to the background, adding Bee Creative Glue only behind the die-cut letters. Blue pearls from the North Pole Pearl Sticker Pack were adhered to the vellum panel. I added a bit of Bee Creative Glue under each pearl to hold the edges of the vellum down and this card was finished.
I love how this turned out and hope you do, as well!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great week and a wonderful Thanksgiving!! I’ll see you next Tuesday!!
