Hello, Honey Bee friends and happy Tuesday!! Brenda here with a dramatic Christmas card featuring the Sending Christmas Joy Stamp Set!! Such a stunning floral set, illustrated by Kelly Taylor, that can be used for the holidays and throughout the entire year!!
I began by stamping the large floral image and postage frame in the Sending Christmas Joy Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I used Copic markers to color them, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I used both the inside and outside dies to cut out the frame and colored the white outline on the inside of the frame with a black Copic.
For the background, I embossed an A2 panel of black cardstock with the Snowy Pines 3D Embossing Folder. I splattered the background panel and floral image with diluted bleed-proof white ink. Two narrow strips of red and white pattern paper from the North Pole Paper Pad were trimmed and adhered to the top and bottom of a white A2 card base. Once the black panel was dry, I trimmed the top and bottom slightly and adhered it to the card base, leaving a thin strip of the striped pattern paper visible. The postage frame and floral were adhered using Bee Creative Glue.
The sentiment is also from the Sending Christmas Joy Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with red dye ink, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. Pearls from the North Pole Pearl Sticker Pack were the perfect finishing touch.
I love that this set includes the ready-made floral arrangement as I’ve used here or individual elements to build your own bouquet!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great Tuesday!!
