Good Monday morning to you, Honey Bee friends! Melissa B here with you today. Do you make your own Christmas cards every year? If so, have you started making them? I know we’re only in the first part of October, but I’m trying to be really good this year and get a head start on mine. Honey Bee has such a great selection of Christmas and holiday sets, like Season’s Tweetings, Merry Christmas and Let It Snow! But they also have products that aren’t necessarilyy Christmas or holiday related that work really well for creating Christmas cards. Like for instance the Stacking Pennants Honey Cuts. Every time I see these or create with them I think Christmas trees. So what did I create today…yup, Christmas cards using those pennants!
My first card features no stamping at all, only die-cutting! I mixed the pennants with the Merry & Bright Honey Cuts, as well as the “&” from the Mr. & Mrs. Honey Cuts. The stars are from the Stacking Stars Honey Cuts and heart is from the Stacking Hearts Honey Cuts. Lots of stacking dies used on this one!
My second card features pretty much all of the same products used on card #1, except the heart on this card is from Warm Wishes. I also added red sequins, from the Christmas Cheer Mix, to the green tree.
Have you tried creating trees with the Stacking Pennants? If you haven’t, keep these dies in mind when you’re creating your Christmas cards this year. 🙂
So glad you stopped by to visit with us. Enjoy your day!
