Hello, fellow crafters!! I hope your week has started off well!! Brenda back with you today!! I’m working on getting my Christmas cards finished so I can get them sent out soon!! The Lovely Layers: Mini Holiday Florals and Merry & Bright Honey Cuts have been at the top of my list to use since the Cozy Christmas Release dropped!! I finally made it happen and I love the results!!

I began by die-cutting the poinsettias, foliage and pinecones in the Lovely Layers: Mini Holiday Florals Honey Cuts from light pink, red, green, sage green, brown and honey gold mirror cardstock. I added shading to the die-cuts using Beeluxe Blending Brushes and the following Distress Inks: poinsettias: Lumberjack Plaid, Worn Lipstick, Tattered Rose; branches: Gathered Twigs; foliage: Evergreen Bough and Rustic Wilderness. All of the elements were assembled and adhered together using Bee Creative Glue.

For the background, I die-cut a panel of polka-dot cardstock in the Gingerbread Village Paper Pad with the largest die in the Lovely Layouts: Posted Die Set. It was adhered to a panel of red cardstock that was die-cut with the largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set. A panel of pink and white polka-dot paper from the same paper pad was die-cut with the largest die in the Stacking Art Deco Labels Die Set and adhered to the front of the card using Bee Creative Glue.

The top layer of the sentiment, from the Merry & Bright Die Set, was die-cut once from honey gold mirror cardstock and one time from heavyweight white cardstock. The shadow layer was cut from red cardstock one time and twice from heavyweight white cardstock. They were all layered and adhered together using Bee Creative Glue. All of the die-cuts were arranged and adhered to the front of the card, using a combination of Bee Creative Glue and foam tape. I added opaque texture paste with a palette knife and sprinkled on some Rock Candy glitter for lots of sparkle.

I absolutely LOVE this!! I can’t wait to used the other dies in the Lovely Layers: Mini Holiday Florals Die Set!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you next Tuesday!!

Brenda
