Hello, crafty friends!! Happy Tuesday!! Brenda here with a colorful birthday card featuring lots of goodies from the Vintage Love Release!!
I started by stamping the image and sentiment from the Love Is A Rose Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I colored the image with Copics, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.
For the background, I die-cut a panel of pattern paper from the Textiles & Texture Vintage Paper Pad with the fourth largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set. The Climbing Rose Stencil Layering Background Stencil Set was stenciled directly onto the pattern paper using Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink for the leaves and stems and Fuchsia Stencil Butter for the flowers. I die-cut a panel of white cardstock with the third largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Dies. A panel of aqua cardstock was cut with the scalloped frame die in the Lace Heart: Layering Frames Honey Cut Set. Once the stencil butter was dry, I swiped the Bee Creative Gold Metallic Pigment Ink Pad along the edges of the card base and the two rectangle layers. They were all adhered together with Bee Creative Glue.
Next, I die-cut the scalloped semi-circle in the Lovely Layers: Posted Die Set from vellum. I adhered the books and sentiment to the vellum with foam tape, then added Bee Creative Glue to the back of the vellum, behind the die-cuts, and adhered it to the center of the card. Pink gems from the Vintage Love Gem Sticker Pack add a bit of sparkle and shine.
I love the combination of the vintage products with the bright colors!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you next Tuesday!!
