Good morning!! This is Angel and I am here for my very first blog post as a Honey Bee Stamps design team member!! I am so excited and honored to be here sharing a project using these amazing products!
My project today was created using the Not Too Shabby stamp set that I absolutely love!! There are so many cute images and sentiments.
I started out with a piece of water color card stock and then Cracked Pistachio distress ink as a water color. I love this color and knew it was going to look beautiful up against black. I used the mason jar and flower bunch from the set and stamped in Versafine Black Onyx ink then heat embossed it using clear embossing powder.
I cut down the panel slightly smaller than my card base so I could use a black and white striped clear acetate paper to the left of my image. I felt that I needed a little more to balance it all out. Then I found a silver foiled piece in my stash and cut a very thin strip to also add to the side. The sentiment is one of my favorites stamped in Versafine black ink. I popped it up on dimensionals and added two sizes of clear sparkling sequins around the image.
I am so happy with how it turned out and that I am able to share it here with you today! I will be back next Saturday with another project. Hope you will come back to check it out. Have a great day!
