Good Monday morning to you! It’s Melissa from Just Dandy Studio here with you today. I’m kicking off the week by sharing a card dedicated to my tribe. What would we do without those special people in our lives!? We’d be lost, that’s for sure. I created a sweet and *pretty* simple card using the new My Tribe stamp set and Honeycuts.
Again, a crisp white background is always my go to! Using the tent in the set, I stamped three on the front of my card in black ink. On a separate piece of Neenah white cardstock ( I use 110# ) I stamped four more tents. Using Copic markers Y15, YR16 and BG32 I colored parts of the tents in. I debated about coloring the main tent … went back and forth numerous times, but in the end decided to keep it white and I’m happy that I did.
After they were all colored in I die-cut the ones that I had stamped on the separate piece of Neenah. I wanted those tents to have a bit of dimension, so I added dimensional foam to the backsides before attaching them to my card front.
You can see the dimension a bit better in this photo. My sentiment was stamped with white ink and then popped up with more dimensional foam. And lastly, a few clear sequins were added around that!
That’s a wrap for me today. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
