It’s Bobbi Lemanski here, sharing a vibrant card for somone in your tribe. If you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate family, friends, coworkers and/or other social groups that you are proud to be a part of, this card is for you. The card features the My Tribe stamp set. While the designs in this set are really pretty, I especially love the unique phrases. I chose the “Thanks for being part of my tribe” phrase for this project.

I used the following products available at Honey Bee Stamps:

To create this card, I watercolored the background in shades of yellow-green and aqua on Canson XL Watercolor paper. I stamped the suncatcher border at the top of the card. Next, I stamped, colored (using BG, E and YG colors of Copics) and die cut the teepee from My Tribe and cacti from the Stick With Me set. I adhered them to the card front, adding dimensional tabs to the back of the teepee and far left cactus plant. To ground the scene, I added additional color using my BG23 to the base of the elements.

To finish the card, I added white dots using my Signo Uni-ball white pen on the cacti, Navajo suncatchers and tent. I also wanted to add a natural element so I opted for those cute wood hearts. They fit the message perfectly. I also stamped the heart-shaped suncatcher image under the phrase to repeat the heart shape and connect the areas. For sparkle, I added green/blue sequins to the front at the top and middle sections including adding a little shine to those pretty suncatchers along the top border. This card is a 5″ X 7″ card size allowing ample space to create a scene like this.

Thanks for stopping by today. I’m off to spend time with my own tribe at the lake (It’s going to be 92 degrees today!) I hope you get to spend the rest of your day with your tribe, too. :o) Have a great day.
