Loads of Love Distress Oxide Watercolor with Amy Rysavy
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! While I had a ton of fun creating dozens of Christmas cards, I am more than excited to move on to creating Valentine/Love-themed creations!
I pulled out Honey Bee’s Little Pickup stamp and die sets and their Sending You Sentiments set and several Distress Oxide Inks to create this card.
I used the Distress Oxide inks to watercolor in all the stamped images, and sponged the Twisted Citron Distress Oxide onto the card base. I then used one of the Ocean Scene Builder Stencils over the background with a blending sponge dampened with water to create the ray effect.
The sentiments were stamped with a combination of Versafine ink and the Distress Oxide inks then the truck and pile of hearts adhered with foam tape.
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping more sentiments from the Sending You Sentiments set, added some of the die cut hearts, then stamped the truck with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink (stamping it off twice on scrap paper) and that was it!
