Hi everyone and welcome back!!  I hope your week is going well so far!!!  It’s Laurie here to share a fun little card with you!!

When I first saw the Stick With Me stamp set, I knew I HAD to have it!!  I love cacti. Mostly because I do not have a “green thumb”, at all, and can usually manage to keep a cactus alive, haha!  Also, I love the way this set was drawn, so fun!!

In my last HoneyBee order (and let me tell you it was a BIG one), I got the Camera Love stamp set and co-ordinating Honey Cuts.  I have had my eye on this set for quite awhile and I’m super happy I finally got it!  Anyway, let’s get down to the card!!

I started by die cutting the picture frame from the Camera Love Honeycuts, three times each out of kraft cardstock and white cardstock.  On the white, inner pieces, I stamped three different cactus images in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  I coloured them with Copic markers and decided to shade around them with a light aqua colour.

I placed the stamped and coloured pieces back into the kraft frames and lightly sponged the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  I then chose that sweet sentiment from the Prickly Sentiments stamp set and stamped it on the bottom of each frame.  I found a piece of patterned paper in my stash that coordinated nicely with the kraft cardstock.  I foam mounted the frames onto the card and picked out some of the gold sequins from the Petal Peach Sequins for embellishments.

After everything was adhered, I thought it needed a little extra something.  I found an old die set from MFT that has 4 different types of photo corners.  I die cut those from the same kraft cardstock and after adhering them to the card front, I inked the edges of the entire card with the Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Thank you for taking some time out of your day to stop and visit!!  Much appreciated!

See you soon!!

Laurie
