Hi crafty friends! Happy new week! It’s Keiko from Happy Tree Studio today and I have this adorable bicycle scene card to share with you. I think the little kitty and the Mr. crow is enjoying each other’s company.

The background is white card stock cut to 5.5” x 4.25” and I inked the bottom portion green and the sky with blue using the cloud border stencil included in the Outdoor Scene Builder Stencils. I then die cut the white wooden fence from woodgrain card stock using Farm Fence die. I wanted the fence to be taller so I used partial die cut technique to make them taller (I simply passed each die cut through the die cutting machine twice. Once to cut the top part and the second time to cut the bottom and each time not cutting what is going to be the middle part of the fence by carefully avoid placing the cutting plate on top. Hope this make sense…).

The sentiment is from the new Riding By… set and I stamped it with black pigment ink and applied a layer of clear heat embossing on top to make it glossy. The fence are adhered with foam tapes and I glued a grass border on top (I used a die from Horizon Slimline Borders and inked it).

I then created this adorable bicycle by simply die cutting all the elements from the new Bicycle Builder die set. I love the texture the die creates for the cute basket! I wanted to pop the bicycle up a bit from the fence, so I glued several layers for the tire, and applied thin strip of foam tapes to the frame. I rounded the basket with fingers before adhering it with foam tapes.

Now you can embellish your bike however you like! There are so many cute items included in the Riding By… set. I decided to put a kitty from the new Smitten Kittens set and some florals from the Riding By…set. I also used a crow from Let’s Hang Out set and little bees from Sandie & Sis set. I stamped, Copic colored and die cut them with the coordinating dies (except the kitty…I cut her out with my scissors so it will not cover up the florals behind too much).

After adhering all the images, I decided I wanted to add some colors to the fence. So I die cut bunch of tiny flowers and leaves (from House Builder Die set) and glued them on the fence. To finish off the card, I added some acrylic hearts and tied a piece of twine.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful week!!
